🛠 What you’ll do
As our new Business Controller, you’ll be part of the Finance team and report directly to the Head of Finance.
Your mission? Help us strengthen our financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and support informed decision-making across the company.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Finance, Accounting, Legal & Business Affairs, Growth Area, and other key stakeholders to optimize financial operations, enhance internal controls, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and support monthly accounting processes
- Analyze financial KPIs and prepare monthly performance reports
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring timely follow-up
- Support the preparation of the company’s Business Plan
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and advisors
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Collaborate on potential M&A operations
- Identify and pursue alternative fundraising opportunities (grants, loans, tax benefits), including documentation preparation
- Ensure smooth and timely information flow across internal teams
- Define, review, and maintain high-quality operating standards, procedures, and controls
- Manage day-to-day financial operations and address any related matters promptly
- Be ready to take on additional tasks that support the team and company goals when needed
Minimum requirements
🔍 What we’re looking for
We’d love to work with someone who’s curious, collaborative, and comfortable with complexity. If you enjoy solving real-world problems with a hands-on team, you’ll feel right at home.
We’re also looking for someone who adapts quickly to change, has strong experience working cross-functionally with different teams, and brings an analytical mindset to every challenge.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- A degree in Finance or strong knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting standards
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar finance or controlling role, ideally within a fast-paced or international environment
- Solid experience preparing financial statements and ensuring accurate reporting
- Familiarity with consolidation and financial reconciliations
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel
- A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills and a collaborative attitude — you enjoy working cross-functionally with different teams
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting

- Experience participating in ERP implementation projects is a plus
